How to add a new carrier or an existing carrier

Part One: Adding a New Carrier

Roles that have the permissions to perform this duty.

  • Admin
  • Dispatcher Admin (This role is a special feature, please check with PropDispatch)

To start, please head to the carrier section in PropDispatch, you can find this on the left-hand side and look for the truck icon; you.



Once found, you will want to click on the truck icon and select "+ Add Carrier". Users will then type in the Carriers name."



Once the carriers name is entered; the user will select "Next" (it is a light shade of yellow button)



The user creating the carrier profile will be required to enter the name of the owner or the carrier account's main lead; this user will automatically be an admin in the carrier account that is being created.

  • Items with a red asterisk will be required.
  • To turn on sand features, the user must click on the yellow slider. The slider will turn green once selected. 

Once the profile is updated, you will click on "ADD CARRIER" to save.


Once all is saved, you will see the new carrier in your carrier list.


Part Two: Adding an Existing Carrier

Roles that have the permissions to perform this duty.

  • Admin
  • Dispatcher Admin (This role is a special feature, please check with PropDispatch)


IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Do not create duplicate accounts for carriers (this will create issues as the carrier tries to build users in their profile)
  • If you create duplicate accounts, the carrier will have to login into two different accounts (this is more work on them).
  • If you believe they do, contact us via e-mail support@propdispatch.com, and we can confirm.
  • If the existing carrier does not remember their Password have them contact via email to support@propdispatch.com

Once found, you will want to click on the truck icon and select "+ Add Carrier". Users will then type in the Carriers name."



Once selected, you will get the option to type in your carrier, PropDispatch is looking as you type (side note: type at a slow pace as we have 100+ carriers in our system). Please make sure the spelling is accurate.; PropDispatch



When you locate the existing carrier, hover over the carrier and click on that carrier, you want to click on "ADD," and you have successfully added the existing carrier.
