Creating and setting up Payment Terms as a carrier gives them access to when invoicing terms can start, the term, and frequency. 


To have this feature added, an administrator of the carrier company (owner or decision-maker) will contact PropDispatch Support. (By clicking on the PropDispatch Support link will create a request/support ticket) please enter the following information in the body of the email. On the subject line, please enter the Invoice request.

  • Carrier Company Name
  • Carrier Contact Phone Number (the requesters)
  • The customers' name you are working with

Who can create a $ payment term?  The following roles in a premium carrier role can set up payment terms.

  • Admin
  • Dispatcher

When Setting up Payment terms, look for Company Settings (This is the last icon on the left-hand side of PropDispatch). Select Customers this is under Company details; once selected, locate the customer you are working with, and to the right, you will see three gray dots select the three gray dots. Payment Terms will appear select payment terms. 


Once the Payment terms box pops up, the carrier will decide with the customer will best suit both parties' invoice requests.

Definition of the payment terms

Frequency - Defines how often.

Billing Term - The time frame of the invoicing (Week or Month)

Billing Start Date - When the invoicing will start

Billing Date Data - Confirmation or Delivered

  • Confirmation - When the load is confirmed
  • Delivered - When the load is delivered

Once all fields are selected; click on Set Payment Terms

A pop-up box will request that you confirm your selections and press confirm to Save


All is information is selected and Saved!



EDIT

To edit the options in payment terms.

Follow the above steps and select the new options

Once all fields are selected; click on Set Payment Terms
