To successfully set up the Brine Water and manage a Brine water carrier. The following bullet points below will show you which steps to take.

Activate Brine Water in Carrier Settings


A new carrier or existing carrier will need the following items edited

On the left side of the PropDispatch, select the following

  • Carrier (The truck Icon)
  • Select the carrier (click) on the carrier(s) name you wish to update.  
  • Once selected, you will see more options for that carrier, such as Detail, Cost Settings, Drivers.
  • Click on Carrier Settings
  • Click on the slider where you see the word *sand* once you click on the slider, it will turn green. Then click on Update Carrier Settings.

Adding Equipment Settings for Brine Water


On the left side of the PropDispatch, select the following

  • Carrier (The truck Icon)
  • Select the carrier, click on the carrier's name, select Cost Setting. Select Add Equipment Settings you will see a pop-up window. The red asterisk is a mandatory field. Once all necessary fields are completed, make sure you SAVE and select Demurrage; if necessary complete the necessary fields and SAVE again.,; if
  • (Quick refresher) on the Hauling information, click HERE

Adding Brine Water to assets 


On the left side of the PropDispatch, select the following

  • Company Settings
  • Assets, 
  • Select Other Assets; 
  • Select + Add Asset; a pop window will appear, and in the drop-down menu, select Brine Water.
  • Once selected, click on Add Asset to save,


Adding Brine Water to your product listings


On the left side of the PropDispatch, select the following

  • Company Settings, 
  • Products; 
  • Select + Add Product. A new window with a drop-down menu will appear; select chemical, Select a Brine Water product. To save your selections click on Add Product. If a product is not there, please reach out by email to support@propdispatch.com to request the Brine product.


Adding a Brine Water Carrier to a job


On the left side of the PropDispatch, select the following.


  • The job
  • Job Settings; a pop-up box will appear; 
  • Select a carrier, 
  • Select Add Carrier; select carrier from the drop-down menu and the hauling cost created in the previous steps.


 

Ordering Loads

When ready to place orders - see the following steps. 

  • Select the job
  • Loads section
  • Order Load
  • Make the following selection.
    - Select the Product (Brine Water)
    - Select the number of loads
    - Select the Terminal
    - Select the carrier
    - Stage if necessary
    - Save



Pad-to-Pad (Asset) moves in Brine Water.


PropDispatch uses the Assets tab to move products from one location to another. 

Once the job is selected and next to the Load's tab, you will select the Assets tab. Select +Move Asset, and a pop-up box will appear and make the following selections.

  • Select Asset - Select Other

  • Select Asset Type - Select “Brine Water” in the drop-down

  • No of Loads - how many orders to place

  • Select Origin - Select a destination to start at.

  • Select Destination - Select a destination to end at. 

  • Select Carrier - Select a carrier.

  • Select Equipment - Only hauling rates/equipment settings with the product type “Brine Water” should show here to select.

  • Approved Mileage - Select the approved mileage.

  • Product - Select the list of product types" Brine Water."
